    7 Celebrities Who Adopted Kids.

    These angelic B-town stars decided to adopt a child (or more) and we are sincerely proud of them!


    1) Rohit Shetty
    Celebrated B-town Film Director Rohit Shetty was a part of the ‘Cancer Patients & Associations’ programme, for which he adopted 10 kids and covered their medication and hospital bills. 


    2) Preity Zinta
    Turns out that Preity is equally adorable off the screen! She adopted 34 orphaned girls, as a part of her 34th Birthday Celebrations, from an orphanage in Rishikesh. It doesn’t just stop there. She has sponsored their education and she ensures that she sees her daughters atleast twice a year. 


    3) Sushmita Sen
    Sushmita had to fight a long legal battle, in order to adopt her first daughter Renee, since it was the first time a single woman was adopting a daughter. It was all over the news and a huge hue and cry was triggered as a result. But she eventually won the case and today, Sushmita is the proud mother of Renee and Alisah, her second daughter. 


    4) Raveena Tandon
    Another celebrity who eliminated a lot of taboo related to adoption was Raveena Tandon. Way before she got married to Anil Thadani, she adopted Chhaya and Pooja, which caused a lot of buzz in the papers. 


    5) Salim Khan
    The most beloved sister of the Khan brothers, Arpita was adopted and raised as his own by Salim Khan, when she was just a little girl. 


    6) Mithun Chakraborty
    The Dance Master’s first daughter, Dishani, was adopted as an infant. She has grown up with lot of love and care amidst her brothers Namashi, Mimoh and Rimoh. 


    7) Subhash Ghai
    Meghna was adopted by Subhash Ghai as a little baby. She grew up in a loving family and went on to pursue her higher studies in UK. Today, she is married happily.
