    30 plus TV Actresses Who Are Popular, Hot and Unmarried

    Surviving in an industry which thrives on fierce competition, celebrities letting their personal lives, especially marriages, take a back seat, is not a new phenomenon. While it a trend in Bollywood, many of our TV stars have also entered the category where they focus on their careers without thinking much about their weddings. Take a look at some such 30-plus hotties of TV who are single and engaged to their work

    Karishma Tanna:
    Starting her career with ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ in 2000, Karishma has to her credit hit shows like ‘Kkusum ‘, ‘Viraasat ‘, ‘Ek Ladki Anjaani Si ‘ among others. She recently came in news with her stint in 'Bigg Boss season 8' in 2014, and her love affair with co-contestant Upen Patel. Recently, she turned host for ‘MTV Love School’. 

    Sakshi Tanwar:
    Sakshi Tanwar started her career as an anchor in Doordarshan. She rose to fame with Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. Post that, the actress has made a mark for self in the TV industry and is now set to foray into Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s Dangal.

    Shilpa Shende:
    The actress, better known as ‘Angoori Bhabhi’ has also acted in shows like ‘Miss India’, ‘Hatim' and ‘Sanjeevani’. Besides TV, Shilpa has also done Telugu films. These days, the actress is hogging the limelight for all the wrong reasons. Post her tiff with ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain’ makers, she was banned by CINTAA, for her unprofessional behaviour.  

    Neha Mehta:
    Best known for her role in India's longest running sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, Neha also got noticed with her performance in the show ‘Bhabhi’ that aired on Star Plus. Born in Gujarat, the actress is an excellent Gujarati speaker and holds a degree in Indian Classical Dance and Diploma in Vocal.

    Kavita Kaushik:
    Making her television debut with Ekta Kapoor's 'Kutumb', Kavita gained maximum fame with her role of Chandramukhi Chautala on SAB TV’s ‘FIR’. She has also displayed her dancing skills on shows like ‘Nach baliye’ and “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. She did her schooling from Nainital, and graduated in Philosophy from Indraprastha College for WomenDelhi.

    Kishwar Merchant:
    The TV actress started her acting career in 1997 with the popular show ‘Shaktiman’.  It was followed by more super hit shows like ‘Hip Hip Hurray’, ‘Hatim’, ‘Khichdi’, ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, among others. She was recently in news as she appeared in 'Bigg Boss 9' along with fiancĂ© Suyyash Rai.

    Gauhar Khan:
    The model-turned-actress made her acting debut in 2009 with Yash Raj Films 'Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’. Prior to that, she made a name for herself as a model and a host. Her item number ‘Jhalla Walla’ and ‘Chokra Jawaan’ from ‘Ishaqzaade’ added to her popularity. It was followed by 'Bigg Boss 7' in 2013, which also grabbed her much attention. 

    Mona Singh:
    Best remembered as Jassi from ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin’, Mona Singh has also showcased her hosting skills through shows like 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', 'Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega' and in various award shows.  She has also acted in movies like ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Utt Pataang’ and ‘Zed Plus’.   

    Shama Sikander:
    The TV hottie, who is these days raising eyebrows with her stunning makeover, became a household name with her show ‘Yeh Meri Life Hai’. She has appeared in Bollywood movie ‘Mann’ and ‘Prem Aggan’.  Shama is also active as a fashion model, and launched her own design company, Saisha, in 2010. The actress is also credited with awards like ‘GR8 Face of the Year’ in 2004, ‘Best face’ in 2005, ‘Critics' Choice: Best Actress’ in 2005.

    Ankita Lokhande:
    She made her debut in 2009 with soap opera ‘Pavitra Rishta’. She then showcased her dancing skills in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ in 2011. The actress has to her credit Indian Television Academy Awards for GR8! Face of The Year (2010), Indian Telly Award for Most Popular Television Personality of The Year (2012) and Star Guild Award for Best Actress in Drama Series Pavitra Rishta (2014).

    Soumya Tandon:
    Currently, earning praises for her performance in 'Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!', Saumya has also co-hosted the show ‘Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout’ with Shah Rukh Khan in 2011 and  ‘Bournvita Quiz Contest’ along with Derek O'Brien. She also played Kareena Kapoor’s sister in the superhit flick ‘Jab We Met’ in 2007.
