The chocolate-cutie hero, Kunal Singh, who is best known for his on-screen romance with Sonali Bendre in the film Dil Hi Dil Mein, committed suicide at his residence in Oshiwara. As per the reports, Singh was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his apartment on 7th February 2008. Though there have been no clarification on why he committed suicide but according to reports, it is said that the reason for him taking such a big step was his unsuccessful career.

South actress, Soundarya died in a plane crash near Bangalore in 2004. After having acted in more than 100 films, Soundarya had started producing films in the south. The beautiful actress was only 32 when she passed away.

Uday Kiran, who started out as a heartthrob in 2000, allegedly committed suicide at his flat at Srinagar colony on 5 January 2014. It was believed that the sole reason behind his suicide was his failures in film industry.

Model-turned-actress Viveka Babajee was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her apartment in 2010. Reason behind her suicide is still unknown. Police reports also stated that she committed suicide due to depression. She was best known for her KamaSutra condom advertisements which raged in 1990s, and for her involvement in the Metro Manila Film Festival scam of 1994.

Abir Goswami was best known for her roles on small screen in serials like Hotel Kingston, Kumkum, Choti Maa, Badalte Rishton Ki Daastan, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Main Teri Parchhain Hoon and many others. As per reports, Goswami died on 31 May 2013 at the age of 37 due to cardiac arrest while working on treadmill.
