The sudden demise of Balika Vadhu fame actress Pratyusha Banerjee came as a shock to many. The actress was just 24 when she allegedly committed suicide in the afternoon on 1st April 2016. Initial reports suggested that the former Bigg Boss contestant hung herself at her apartment in Kandivali and unfortunately she was ‘declared dead on arrival' by the doctors of Kokilaben Hospital.
As per reports, it was her long time beau Rahul Raj Singh, who brought her to the hospital after he saw Pratyusha hanging on her apartment thinking that she is still alive. But strangely, Rahul left her dead body in the hospital and went absconding with her phone.
Some say she committed suicide as she found Rahul cheating on her over a girl named Saloni Sharma while others believe that it was her long outstanding debts that forced her to end her life.
Bollywood actress, Jiah Khan created quite a stir with her big debut opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the movie Nishabd (2007). Born as Nafisa Rizvi Khan on 20 February 1988, the actress committed suicide in her Mumbai apartment on 3 June, 2013.

Reportedly, her family members were present with her when she fell off from a five storey apartment building in Mumbai. It is still unknown whether it was a suicide or an accident.

A winner of the Miss India Universe title in 2007, the VJ hanged herself in her apartment in 2004 at a young age of 26. Nafisa even acted in a TV series called, C.A.T.S and a cameo in Subhash Ghai’s film Taal.

The 29-year-old, Indian Idol season 2 winner, who hailed from Rajasthan, died following illness resulting from jaundice. As per reports, Acharya was at a wedding in Bikaner when his situation worsened and his relatives had to rush him to Medanta Medicity where he breathed his last.

Born on January 1, 1976, in Raniganj, West Bengal, Kuljeet Randhawa was a model and a known TV actress. The former Gladrags model was best known for her role in the 'Kohinoor' series. Randhawa also appeared in several television series including 'Hip Hip Hurray', 'C.A.T.S.', and a lead role in STAR One’s 'Special Squad'. On 8 February 2006, Randhawa hanged herself at her apartment in Juhu, Mumbai. As per reports, her suicide note stated that she ended her life as she was unable to cope with life’s pressures.
