Popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is all set to feature its ninth season on small screen. Ever since the show has been announced, speculations regarding the contestants have started doing the rounds.
And if sources are too believed, most of the celebrities who have already worked or been working with Colors channel have been approached to participate in the show. Though no one has been finalized yet, but the talks are still going on between the makers and celebrities.
Siddharth Nigam:
Siddharth plays the role of young Ashoka in historical serial, ‘Chakaravartin Ashoka Samrat’. If sources are too believed, the makers are keen in signing Siddharth because of his popularity as a child artist.
When Dailybhaskar.com contacted Siddharth’s mother, she confirmed the rumour. "Yes, Siddharth has been approached. But we have not finalized yet,” she added.
Ruhanika Dhawan:
Ruhanika plays the character of Ruhi in serial, ‘Ye Hain Mohabbatein’. In conversation with Dailybhaskar.com, Ruhanika’s mom said, “The makers of JDJ9 want to portray Ruhanika as the youngest contestant of their show. The best part is Ruhanika also loves dancing; so talks are still going on.”
Arjun Bijlani:
Arjun Bijlani is currently seen as 'Ritik' in popular serial, 'Naagin'. According to source, Arjun has already started rehearsing for JDJ 9. Well, Arjun will make his debut as contestant in a reality show.
Nora Fatehi:
Nora was one of the contestants of 'Bigg Boss 9'. If sources are too believed, Nora has been finalized to participate in JDJ9.
Shakti Arora:
Shakti Arora was last seen in serial, ‘Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’ on Colors. The actor has also been approached.
Sonali Raut:
Sonali Raut was a part of 'Bigg Boss 8' as a contestant. In an interview to a leading tabloid, Sonali said, “There has been a verbal agreement. We are discussing monies now.”
Jigyasa Singh:
Jigyasa plays the character of 'Thapki' in serial 'Thapki Pyar Ki'.
She has been approached for JDJ9, but things are not confirmed yet.
