COLORS will be soon coming up with a new daily series called ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ which tells the story of a girl who is lovely and bright as a moon but is turned down by many suitors because she stammers while speaking. The prayers offered by her family finally get answered as she comes across a middle-class suitor. However, how that happens and what events lead to their union is what the story will focus on.
Jigyasa Singh will be seen portraying the lead part in the show and Shivani Tomar will play as her sister. Veteran TV actress Jaya Bhattacharya will essay the role of Jigyasa’s mother and Shakti Singh will be seen as her optimistic father.
The show was launched yesterday in Mumbai and all the main members of the cast turned up in their screen get-up to interact with the press.
The show will go on air May 25 Monday to Friday 7 pm.
