The recently held Star Parivaar Awards turned out to be good and bad both for actress Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’. The good part was that she bagged three awards in different categories such as Digital Sadasya (most famous online award), Best Jodi and Best International Jodi. But at the same time an untoward incident made Divyanka incur a loss of Rs. 40, 000! At the event she lost her expensive jewelry and could not find it despite looking for it everywhere.
A source says the stolen property was an ethnic and choker jewelry which Divyanka had bought especially for the event. She had searched every nook and corner of her vanity but couldn’t find it.
She was disappointed to lose the jewelry. However, Divyanka was relieved to find the same jewelry in another artist’s vanity van.
Divyanka elaborated more on the lost and found case by saying, "I am relieved and thankful to the designer Jerry for his efforts and promptness in finding the jewellery. More than the money involved I was sad because each and every piece was chosen by me with utmost care."
