Television stars Ravi Dubey and Rubina Dilaik took home the coveted Dada Saheb Phalke Award yesterday at an event for their outstanding contribution in the small screen industry.
On his Instagram page, Ravi expressed gratitude for the award by writing, “Truly honored.... #DadaSahebPhalkeAward #immensegratitude thank you Dada Saheb Phalke Film Federation for finding me worthy of this...humbled .”
Ravi credits his better-half Sargun Mehta and his family for the prestigious accomplishment. He bagged the award in the best actor (male) category for ‘Jamai Raja’.
Fit-bodied and talented actress Rubina Dilaik was the one to be given the trophy in the best actress category. Rubina rose to fame in Zee TV’s ‘Choti Bahu’
The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award in the entertainment industry and covers television actors as well. The event was graced by many bigwigs such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan Huma Qureshi.
