The sweet and sour Meenakshi Rathi aka Kanika Maheshwari has been missing from the show ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ since more than 10 days. She had taken maternity leave as her third trimester of pregnancy was over and the actress was looking forward to deliver her baby.
On April 4, 2015, Kanika gave birth to her baby boy at around 6.30 pm through C-section. The operation was done at a hospital in Mumbai.
While Kanika will be discharged from the hospital on April 7, we are not sure when she will be able to resume shooting for DABH.
For now, Kanika and her husband Ankur Ghai are relishing the joys of parenthood. Many congratulations to the couple and we wish their baby loads of happiness in time to come.
