A Pet Calendar Photo shoot was held with Mandira Bedi, Kalki Koechlin, Vivek Oberoi, Arunoday Singh, Siddhanth Kapoor and Erika Packard on Heavy Petting All Stars on NDTV Good Times.
Supporting the cause of adopting a stray animal, these stars have come together for a photo shoot.
‘Do you love animals? Do you want to adopt a pet? Then go get a stray animal’. With this simple message as the core anthem of the NGO World For All, an animal rescue organization which has revolutionized the adoption of stray dogs and cats from Mumbai's streets, the celebs have come forth for a cause and tell their reason for #WhyAStray. Watch all the the behind-the-scenes fun and madness of the World For All Calendar photo-shoot with these celebs.
Mandira Bedi, Kalki Koechlin, Vivek Oberoi, Arunoday Singh, Siddhanth Kapoor and Erika Packard pose with the starry strays and talk about their fondest memories with their pets who are the center of their universe.
For every shoot, as soon as the pets were brought in, all the celebrities would get busy petting, feeding and playing with the pet. The shooting schedule would go for a complete toss and the producer had to strictly tell the celebrities to not play with the puppies / kittens and focus on the shoot.
And they share their pet memories:
Mandira Bedi:
My dog passed away just a few minutes before my son was born so I believe that my dog’s soul is alive in my son.
Arunoday Singh:
My first dog was left to wander by himself and it impregnated all the dogs in the city so I believe that every dog there now is my child / grandchild.
Vivek Oberoi:
Whenever my dog makes me smile is a memory.
Kalki Koechlin:
The welcome I received from my dogs when I used to come home for my holidays from my boarding school.
Erica Packard and Siddhant Kapoor:
When Erica's dog gave birth to puppies and I helped out with the child-birth entirely.
