Saurabh Tewary’s ‘Rangrasiya’ started on a positive note last year, but now, it seems that all the hoopla surrounding the series has faded, and it is time for the show to pack up for good!
Earlier it was rumoured that ‘Rangrasiya’ might just go off-air but there was not any confirmation from the any of the main heads working on the show. However, in conversation to a popular entertainment website, Saurabh Tewary has confirmed that the series will come to an end by September 19, 2014.
The reason being cited behind the show’s end are low TRPs which has been an issue for a long while now. An attempt was made to salvage the show by introducing Sanaya Irani as Myra in a new track, but even that has failed to garner positive results.
We’re sure that the news will sadden many of the viewers who have been loyal to the series for long time.
The unique love tale based on love-hate relationship between a rugged BSD officer Rudra and a lively Paro managed to entertain the audience. And, we especially credit actors Ashish Sharma and Sanaya Irani for portraying romance on the small-screen with such honesty and deftness.
All we can hope for is to see the actors make a comeback soon albeit in a new avatar and a new saga.
