The countdown has begun for ‘Ye Hai Mohabbatein’ actress Divyanka Tripathi! The beautiful lady is all set to tie the knot with actor Vivek Dahiya in just a week time. The couple will tie the knot on 8th July 2016 in Bhopal in a traditional ceremony.
Recently, in an interview with Dailybhaskar.com, soon-to-be-bride Divyanka Tripathi opened up the wedding preparations, life after marriage, honeymoon, babies and many more…
Here’s what she said:
Wedding Preparations:
I don’t believe that I am just a week away from my D-day. For the last few days, there are lots of coordination happening between our families. I barely have time for the preparation. In fact, I tend to forget things also. But now, I am getting on track. It is finally sinking that I am getting married. As the wedding date is coming near, I am feeling excited but little nervous too. It’s an important event of my life and I am really feeling nice about it.
Wedding Costumes:
There are many functions happening for my wedding including mehendi, sangeet, main wedding, reception and after party; so keeping all these functions in mind, lot of costumes are been arranged by me. I am not wearing a saree for any function because I have worn lot of them in my serial, Ye Hai Mohabbatein. I will be wearing them after marriage, but not for any wedding functions.
Spa Session Before Wedding:
Maybe, Vivek and I will go for a De-stress Spa session. But it depends upon the wedding preparations; if everything falls on time, then we might go to a spa together
Break from Work Post Marriage:
Vivek and I will be taking leave for 8- 10 days. In fact, the makers of the show were expecting that I would ask them for a big break. But I did not felt the necessity of taking extra leaves. Being a lead of the show, I also understand the pressure of my team. I love my work too.
Marriage Responsibilities:
Marriage will bring lot of responsibilities along with it and I am already prepared for it. In fact, life won’t change much after marriage because both of us will be busy with our respective shows. His family is very understanding and so I don’t think I will have the pressure of adjusting or compromising.
Vivek Dahiya as a Life Partner:
I feel blessed to have a person like Vivek in my life. He just loves me without any conditions attached. He cares a lot and the best part is that he is a family man. I would never be comfortable with a person who is a hard core party man or who likes glamor too much. Neither, he would be happy with me because I am not that kind of person.
The best part of Vivek is there are no lies. Believe me; he is honest in everything he speaks about. He will not hide anything from you and that is really very beautiful. I just love the way he is so truthful not only with me but with everyone. He is very clean at his heart. He is a positive person and after being with him, I have become calmer.
Arranged Relationship Turns into a Lasting Love:
Vivek and I had an arranged set up. And in arrange marriage, you think first and then you fall in love. The same thing happened between us. We thought a lot about our relationship and then went ahead. Now, we are madly in love with each other. Thankfully, it was a very well-thought decision.
Always Wanted to Get Married at the Age of 16!
Believe me; I always wanted to get married soon. I remember; when I turned 16, the first question I asked my mom was, when will I turn 18? I am a typical marriage material; it’s just that God took little extra time to find my perfect partner. But at the end, it turned out right for both of us.
Vivek and I have become mature enough to understand marriage. We both are prepared to witness the big change of our lives. We know that whatever decision we will take, it will not happen out of compulsion. Every decision will be taken with lot of maturity.
Honeymoon Plans:
Vivek has already planned something and I would like to leave it on him. I would like to be surprised. If you ask my choice of honeymoon destination, than I am not a beach person, so I do not want to go on a beach. I love hilly areas, so I would love to go there for my honeymoon. Honestly, if I have a company like Vivek, I do not have to plan much. I do not mind going to Lonavala for my honeymoon.
Family Planning:
I am not at all prepared for this question (laughs). I have always been ready for babies, but I think it’s too early to talk about it. We are just taking a step ahead of our relationship by getting married and babies are like very far-fetched dream.
