Shock and despair has hit the cast and crew of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV and Neela Telefilms).
Sad news has come in that Arvind Marchande, head production controller on the show, passed away today afternoon on the set due to heart attack.
As per our sources, Arvind complained of chest pain, which was thought to be due to indigestion. He was given ENO to bring some relief, but to everyone's horror, he could't bare the pain and died on the spot.
Arvind was rushed to a suburban hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. His deceased body was later taken for post-mortem.
After his sudden demise the shooting has been called off for today and tomorow.
Producer Asit Modi and other people from the show visited the hospital to pay final respect.
