After having given classic shows like Madhubala : Ek Ishq- Ek Junoon, Rang Rasiya and many more, Producer Saurabh Tewari is all set to enthrall the audiences with his new web series, Chinese Bhasad. Saurabh will be foraying into direction with this web series.
While elaborating on the storyline, he says, "It s based on a family based in Lucknow and the grandfather who has a hatred towards China considering the country having captured today's economy. The twist in the story comes in when his own grandson falls in love with a Chinese girl and says that he wants to marry her. And that's when the entire Bhasad or the entire chaos happens." And what made the talented man come up with a different storyline in terms of Chinese Bhasad! Ask him this, and Saurabh says that it has been based on his real life experience. "Six years ago, my younger brother who was based in Singapore brother fell in love with a chinese girl and decided to marry her. Then the way the marriage happened and how the bride's family flew down from Singapore and Beijing, so this actually I had thought then itself that I will convert this real life expcerience into a reel story."
The producer-director who has given the viewers a lot of hit pairs in the form of Drashti-Vivian, Sanaya-Ashish says that he is really happy to have worked with a bunch of extremely talented people. On asking who has been his favourite amongst the four, Saurabh says, "All are very talented and great artists. But if I had to choose one name on a personal note, it would be Drashti Dhami. She is an extremely fantabulous person and an amazing actor. It's always fun in working with her. She is a great human being. I have done two shows with her and she is one of the most professional actors I have come across."
