Kangana Ranaut has always been a woman on fire. This brave lady has been making headlines for reasons- good and bad both lately. However, more recently while receiving the ‘CNN-News18 Indian of the Year, 2015 – Special Achievement’ award, Kangana made some direct statements about Censor Board’s scheme of things. She also made some not-so-direct statements about Hrithik Roshan.
Speaking about the recent Udta Punjab fiasco, Kangana was quoted as saying, “We have been very concerned with the way things are going. I am not a director, I have never been through the process. But my very close friends and people I closely work with seem extremely disturbed with the way things are.” While accepting the Indian of The Year Award, Kangana recalled, “This reminds me of a particular incident in my movie Queen. There is a scene where my bra is on the bed… One day my director called me and said that censor board asked to blur it. We had put a lot of work on that bra. It was flown abroad all the way from Lajpat Nagar. So, we were shocked. Why do we see it as a danger to society? A woman’s bra is not a danger to society!”
