Just when we think television is getting boring with similar shows and formats, it springs a surprise on us. There was a time when Indian TV was all about tacky glitzy saris, oodles of make up and flowing glycerine. Even though not much has changed today, but, it wouldn’t be wrong that the makers are getting more realistic with time. At least, when it comes to love-making!  And out telly stars too are happily adopting the newer ways, and don’t mind getting intimate on the small screen. Of late, there have been many shows that saw it’s lead stars raising the temperatures and the TRPs, with their sizzling chemistry.

Bade Ache Lagte Hain brought sensuous scenes for the first time on Indian Television. The show reached its peak when Ram Kapoor aka Ram and Sakshi Tanwar aka Priya shared their first onscreen lip-lock scene as they consummate their marriage for the first time.

One of Star Plus’ most popular show, ‘Bidaai’, raised many eyebrows when leads Sadhna and Alekh consumated their marriage. The hot scenes between Angad Hasija and Sara Khan did not go down well with many. People even protested and asked the channel to pull the show off air.

TV hunk Karan Tacker scorched the screen yet again in the show ‘Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai’, when he romanced his real-life love Krystal D’souza on their honeymoon, in the show.

TV most loved couple Khushi and Arnav played by Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti, set the TRPs soaring when they made love in a hut, in their show ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’.

Real life couple Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal got dirty and intimate in a farmhouse in their show ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’.  The couple’s off-screen rapport translated into their superb on-screen chemistry.

Star One’s ‘Rang Badalti Odhani’ aired a cosy moment when Yashashri Masurkar who portrayed Khanak and Karan Tacker who played the role of Shantanu, made love post their wedding.

Imagine TV’s ‘Kitni Mohabaat Hai-Season 2’ scored well on the TRP chart when it aired a love-making scene between Arjun and Arohi, played by Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra, in a hut.

TV actors Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma raised temperatures when they made love on-screen, in the dream sequence between Jodha and Akbar, in their popular show ‘Jodha Akbar’. Considering that the stars cannot bear each other for a minute in real life, their reel life chemistry was certainly impressive.

They might not be the perfect love birds of the small screen but Samir Soni and Keerti Nagpure  in ‘Parichay—Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka’ managed to touch the hearts of the audiences through their romance. Their love-making scene was beautiful and heart touching.

Zee TV’s  ‘Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke’ raised temperatures when it’s lead stars Mayank, played by Ankit Gera and Gunjan, essayed by Roopal Tyagi, shared a passionate kiss as they reveal their feelings to each other.
