Celebrities from the entertainment industry reacted with shock and
grief on Friday night as news broke about the suicide by 24-year-old
actress Pratyusha Banerjee, the star of one of the most popular serials
on Indian TV.
Pratyusha, who shot into fame as Anandi in the celebrated drama series Balika Vadhu, was found dead at her suburban Mumbai residence on Friday in a suspected case of suicide.
