Eastern Eye, a UK-based publication, conducted a long and elaborate poll to find out who Asia’s sexiest men could be. While Hrithik Roshan had been on top of the charts for several years, this year, he was dethroned by One Direction sensation Zayn Malik. While there are many Indians in the top 10 list, several others managed to be in the top 50, including Parth Samthaan, Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati and Emraan Hashmi.
1. Zayn Malik: The face on One Direction for many years, Zayn Malik is a British national of Pakistani origin. His move to quit 1D created many ripples across the world.
2. Hrithik Roshan: The Greek god needs no introduction. Despite slipping to the second spot, he remains our hot favourite.
3. Ali Zafar: This Pakistani talent house is loved by people across the sub-continent for his style, as much as for his talent.
4. Barun Sobti: Popular in the television fraternity, Barun Sobti’s position at the 4th spot was surprising but deserved.
5. Vivian Dsena: Beating major celebrities in the frame was Vivian Dsena. The television actor’s fan following took him to the top 10 list easily.
6. Fawad Khan: Another Pakistani in the list, Fawad Khan is loved across the world for his gentlemanly style and superb acting.
7. Salman Khan: Yes, there is no surprise that Bhai is at the 7th spot.
8. Shahid Kapoor: Shahid managed to bag a high position at the 8th spot.
9. Shah Rukh Khan: The oldest celebrity in the top 50, Baadshah’s style and fan base made sure he finished in the top 9.
10. Gurmeet Choudhary: Actor, model and dancer, Gurmeet Singh now has another feather in his decorated cap.
