Even as one Bollywood superstar found himself acquitted from the court’s wrath, his very own protégé, Sooraj Pancholi appears to have sunk yet deeper: A recent turn of events has revealed that the CBI chargesheet contains highly graphic details that may prove that Sooraj can indeed be accused of abetment in Jiah Khan’s suicide.
The chargesheet has described that the couple found themselves expecting a baby, but allegedly due to concerns over his acting career, Sooraj tried to keep their relationship hush-hush and wanted a discreet abortion. When the prescribed meds didn’t work and Jiah started haemorrhaging, Sooraj allegedly delayed taking her to the hospital and took matters in his own hands – This is where it gets murkier. While the authenticity of the claims is yet to be proved, it is said that Sooraj extracted the fetus himself and disposed it in the drain.
“This allegedly left a deep emotional scar on Khan as she was very possessive about Pancholi and the latter started avoiding her, possibly for the sake of his acting career,” concludes the report.
