It's the end of the year and we are sure that everyone has plans for the new year, things that we don't want to carry forward in 2016. For a television buff like me, I wish to bid goodbye to several Indian TV shows. It's high time these marathon shows with no story, and over-the-top drama end before the sun rises on January 1st, 2016. Seriously, we need some peace. Here are 11 television shows, which we wish doesn't continue in the coming year.

Diya Aur Baati Hum: The serial began by showing how the lead character wanted to be an IPS officer but after being married, her dreams are shattered. The show began in 2011, in 2014 she achieves her dream and becomes, and IPS officer. We still wonder when the series will shut?

Kumkum Bhagya: The show started on an interesting note as a love story but again, they lost their string of story and ended up being everywhere. The show is already a year old and needs to shut this year.

Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi: How can a love story turn into a thriller, suspense drama? Well, that happens only in Indian television shows. The show now has the lead character in a double role, the actress sobbing over every little thing and even getting off the wedding mandap at the last moment. We are done with this crap.

Naagin: This show began some months back but we are already having a tough time dealing with the show. How can someone produce a show like Naagin in 2015? How?

CID: It has been on air for more than a decade. Now we also remember the dialogues of the show. In fact we can solve the mystery even before they can, don’t you agree?

Udaan: The show seemed promising when it began. The concept of a young girl who is ambitious, seemed like it would break the stereotype, but again the story turned into a huge Indian drama with loads of twists, and turns. It also ended up having mythological twists in it. The drama has seriously turned sour and needs to shut off.

Palak Pe Jhalak: This Disney show is a remake of That’s So Raven. We loved the English show but the Hindi remake drives us up the wall and on the other side. Time to shut?

Balika Vadhu: Alright, the show started with a girl child marriage. She is now a grown up, married and a mother. Don’t you think it's time for them to end this show?

Sasural Simar Ka: It started in the year 2011. Since then the show had several twists and turns-saas-bahu drama, husband –wife drama, attacks by super natural powers and everything unimaginable Ab, bas bhi karo!

Swaragini: The show started with the tagline Jodein Rishton Ke Sur where the lead characters Swara and Ragini were meant to unite two families. Well currently, the two of them are at loggerheads and one of them has turned into a vamp. Time to shut this show!

Ye Hai Mohabbatein: The show began in the year 2014 and is still running without a concrete story line. We so wish the show ends this year.
