Amit Gaur who plays the coach named Tarun Kapoor aka TK in MTV India’s Swim Team turns a year older on October 20th. Co-incidentally Amit’s on-screen character Tarun's birthday is going to be celebrated on the same day on the show.
Amit says, "My birthday is on the 20th of October and TK celebrates his on the 21st. It just happened to be in the same week. I would have never guessed this to happen. What a coincidence! It is actually a very rare thing that an actor celebrates his birthday with his character. TK is loved by all so obviously his birthday will be celebrated in more than one episode. I am looking forward to it as it will be too much fun. At first, we completed 150 episodes and now this twist came up coincidentally! It's like another feather in my hat of happiness. The show is becoming interesting more than ever."
As of now, the birthday boy has no plans for the special day and informed it will be like any other working day. "I have no plans until now. I will be shooting mostly."
On being asked what are the gifts he is expecting from his loved ones the actor replies, "I don't ask for gifts or expect from my friends or anyone. They wishing me is more than enough. In fact, I am still looking forward to do lots and lots of work like in movies and TV shows and be very successful in my field. That's all I have ever asked from God.”
