For those unaware, Medscape India Awards, is carried out by Medscape, a charitable organization. These awards recognize the efforts and contribution of people who work towards the well being of the society and acknowledges their work. Actress Lisa Ray, who had been battling cancer, was nominated for the ‘Inspirational Fighter Spirit Of India’ category, and was present at the ceremony as well. The Medscape India Awards will be aired tonight on Sony TV and will be a grand affair indeed.
