We all love playing sports, don’t we? So, does our lovely telly-town celebs. While few of them were quite active in sports, others took out some time to play the game they loved. And all of us have played some sports or the other during our early age.
Here we present to you tv actors and their the sport they love to play
Kapil Arya- The sport that I loved playing while growing up was Cricket. Me and my friends played cricket almost anywhere including terrace, in the neighbours’ compound, lanes and anywhere. My most fond memory related to the sport was waking up at 4 am to be the first to reach the practice ground and put our stump to block the pitch before any other teams arrives.
Aparna Dixit- I use to play basket ball and was also a sprinter in the school. In fact I was selected as the sports captain once. I remember I used to get scolded by my dad for being out till eight in the night for my practice. But, that never stopped me from playing the game, rather I grew even more passionate about the game.
Dheeraj Dhoopar- I was very good in table tennis and basket ball and was the house captain in my school. But among these two sports, I love table tennis more and used to play in different college tournaments. And since I am not a very tall person, I couldn't take over the opposite players in basket ball.
Rubina Dilaik- I played badminton and chess during my school days. Though I was not much keen on sports but being the Head Girl during the school days, I had to supervise all sports activities. There are many fond memories. I remember leading the inter-school parade at National Level. And unknown to many I was a part of Raid De Himalayas (car racing championship), as an official timer.
Shashank Vyas- For me, I never concentrated on one sport. Rather I grew up while playing cricket and football. And I was also interested in swimming.
Vivana Singh- I played all sports as I was in a boarding school. But my favourite was undoubtedly cricket. We used to practice for months before inter house competition. I was the house captain in 12th standard, so, had an immense pressure of winning the trophy. And that time my life revolved around sports and studies and my focus was to play a fair game and loved the process of practicing with dedication.
