Star Plus.
Star plus was launched in the year 1992. This channel gained popularity after shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. Star One was the most popular channel in all schools and colleges! Because of its shows being youth oriented all teenagers and young adults loved watching this channel. Sab TV broadcasting in the year 2000 as a part of the Sony entertainment network. This channel has been home to some of the greatest family entertainment shows over the years. Although shows like Lapataganj, F.I.R., and Office Office. Sab TV now gets most of its viewers because of the successfully running show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma.'
ZEE TV: Zee TV was launched in the year 1992. Before the entry of this channel, the audience had no option but to watch what was presented by the only public broadcaster (Doordarshan). Zee TV brought in shows like Amanat, Hasratein, Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani and Koshish-Ek Aashaa.Zee TV also introduced the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' thanks to which the industry has a number of talented singers!
LIFE OK:
This channel made history by obtaining the highest TRP among all channels in the previous year. Its successful mythological drama Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev recorded an 8.2 TVR, pushing the channel to recorded its highest ever GRP of 167! Savdhaan India is another show that is loved by the audience.
DOORDARSHAN:
This may seem a little bit funny, but it is a fact that at a point of time, that's all we watched! And the most popular and entertaining show apart from the news were Mahabharat and Shaktimaan! The number of life lessons Shaktimaan has taught us are countless!
