Lucky is the soul that can listen to and appreciate music. Because it’s the gateway to heaven. On World Music Day, we spoke to popular television actors to know which music they love…take a look:
Mahima Makwana
See, I am very moody in terms of music, but I’m a music lover. I don’t like loud and rocking music. I usually prefer soft music with meaningful lyrics. I am humming ‘Love me like you do’, an English song and ‘Bezubaan’ from Piku.
Rithvik Dhanjani
I prefer Sufi music. I also like the fusions by Mohit Chauhan. ‘Chaap tilak’ and ‘Akhiya udeek diya’ by Nursat Fateh Ali Khan are my favourite ones.
Shivangi Joshi
My choice is (thinks) romantic, soft music. There are many that I hum the whole day. I am currently obsessed with‘Humari adhuri kahani’.
Shivin Narang
Normally I like Sufi and Bollywood as it connects with everyone. I think music plays a very important role in your life in terms of feeling, relationship or even your profession. Recently ‘Hamari adhuri kahani’ and ‘Sun Sathiya’ from ABCD2 are going on in my mind.
Vrinda Dawda
I am a very moody person when it comes to music. Sometimes I prefer listening to romantic and party numbers, but usually I love soft and smoothing tracks. But while driving I prefer retro numbers. ‘Banno tera swagger’ from Tanu Weds Manu Returns and ‘Sun sathiya’ from ABCD2 are the songs I am humming these days.
Firoza Khan
I love only Hindi romantic numbers. But my choices vary with the mood too. The only song I’m listening to recently is‘Sun sathiya’ from ABCD2.
Ravjeet Singh
I prefer listening to Sufi music. When I am stressed out, I have a place in my house where I usually sit and listen to songs. I like listening to Hari and Sukhmani, and these days I’m singing their ‘Madhaniyan’.
Ripudaman Handa
I love listening to more pop-mixed Punjabi songs, I also listen to emotional ones. While driving, I listen to rock songs. I am humming ‘Jeena Jeena’ from Badlapur these days.
