The television industry is infamous for its long working hours; but often this factor turns into a blessing in disguise when co-actors become thick friends. Actors Mrunal Jain, Rashami Desai and Tina Datta have worked together in ‘Uttaran’ for years and have found lifelong friends in each other due to the show.
Mrunal is the common factor between Rashami and Tina.
Elaborating more on that, Mrunal says, "Tina and Rashami both of them have a mystery in their own self! When I met Rashami Desai on the first day of my shoot, I knew she was a Gujarati. She was the first girl who called me ‘Bhaiya’ (brother). The bonding happened right away and the tuning between us is always like a family."
Mrunal also shares how the brother sister bonding was initiated by Rashami.
"One fine day she asked me can I call you bro and I was absolutely comfortable with it. And we are like real brother and sister I get so much positive vibes in our relationship. We don't meet up often but whenever we meet we actually feel good. I treat Rashami as my real sister as I don't have a real sister."
Speaking about his relationship with Tina, Mrunal says that he had heard she has a lot of attitude and ego. However, when he actually met her, she appeared to be just opposite of the rumours about her.
"When I actually met her and interacted with Tina it was actually opposite from what I heard about her. In Tina I found a co -star to a friend and to a best friend in this journey and when the show ended, I got a friend for lifetime."
Mrunal also feels Tina is a powerful woman and an achiever at a very early age. "Tina Datta is a brand which she created with her hard work and dedication and I am really proud of her and though she is younger to me but I look up to her. I also like the child within Tina, she is sweet,” he concludes.
