\&TV’s new singing reality show - ‘The Voice – India’ – won’t be just a musical treat but a visual panorama as well. The most technologically advanced set up with a glossy look and play of lights introduced by the ace Art Director and Set Designer Omung Kumar is class apart in terms of appearance. The sets will come alive with Jarag Lights and Matrix Software that is being used for the first time on Indian Television.
This will enable the audience to enjoy a song and side by side take delight in the slick light play too as the colors and the pattern of the lights will change according to the song. Another art design innovation are the Chairs used by the four coaches. The Chairs are also programmed on software that is in sync with MIDI and the light console. So with every press of the buzzer, the lights of the coach’s chair will change automatically, too.

All these make the set by far the most advanced yet with the number of the LEDs and the light designing being on completely programmed software with no manual process being followed.

Moreover, the equipment used to shoot the show is just as advanced with 12 Sony 1700 HDC cameras being used in the first two phases after which the number will increase. As far as the seating capacity is concerned, about 250 people can be accommodated for now; but the number of seats will increase in the coming phases. So, all in all, the of the original format The Voice since this is the first season of the show.
