Kapil Sharma recently attended the private screening of upcoming release ‘Piku’ . Interestingly, Kapil’s mother, who has never seen a Hindi film with Kapil, was left floored by ‘Piku’ actress Deepika Padukone.
The stand-up comedian tweeted to express his excitement: “First time my mom went to see a Hindi movie with me n it was Piku.. She is in love with @Deepikapadukone..”
‘Piku’ is a film by Shoojit Sircar and it is explores the dynamics of the relationship between a father and daughter as they take a road trip to Kolkata from New Delhi. Deepika Padukone is playing the titular role and Amitabh Bachchan is essaying the part of her ageing father. The movie will release nationwide on May 8, 2015.
