While shooting for an outdoor scene on the set of ZEE TV’s historical series ‘Jodha Akbar, actor Rajat Tokas not just suffered heat stroke but a dangerous one at that, a news site reports.
Although the sets of ‘Jodha Akbar’ in Karjat are air-conditioned to keep the actors cool, Rajat had no other choice but to shoot in the sweltering heat outdoors. As a result, while filming one scene lately, Rajat began feeling nauseous and blood started oozing out of his nose. To get him treated pronto, the production staff took Rajat to the hospital but the actor began spitting blood on his way. Thankfully, the doctors at the Seven Hills Hospital did a complete examination of Rajat’s body and declared that he had simply suffered a heat stroke, nothing more.
Despite being advised proper rest, Rajat ensured that he finish the shoot for the day by resuming work after being discharged from the hospital. What an example of professionalism!
