The air on the set of Shashi Sumeet Productions ‘Diya aur Baati Hum’ was celebratory recently as the joyous cast and crew assembled to ceremonialize the completion of 1000 episodes of the show.
Members of the main cast – Deepika Singh aka Sandhya, Anas Rashid aka Suraj, Neelu Vaghela aka Bhabho, Ashok Lokhande aka Bhabhasa, Sehrish Ali aka Chhavi, Varun Jain aka Mohit and Pooja Singh aka Emily were present were joined by the crew members for the cake cutting ceremony.
Kanika Maheshwari, who is playing Meenakshi’s part in DABH, was absent from the celebrations. She is in the last trimester of her pregnancy and hence currently on maternity leave.
