Ever since the Channel V show got over, fans have been bombarding social networking sites to bring back the couple, looks like their wish has been granted
Shantanu Maheshwari and Vrushika Mehta have been roped in for the last episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui. It will indeed be a treat for their fans to see their favourite couple romancing like before. However, they won’t be dancing in this one.
In the episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Shantanu will play the character of Shaan, who is an aspiring lawyer with speech impediment. Vrushika will play the role of Rukhsar, who is the daughter of a popular lawyer. In spite of his stammering issue, Shaan wants to make a name in the field of law, but is under confident. Rukhsar sees the potential in Shaan and helps with his speech therapy.
We caught up with Shantanu to find out more, he said, “It was great working with Vrushika again. There was that comfort level since I knew I was working with her. It eases you out to be working with someone you know.”
It seems the actor is currently working on a new show but he is extremely tight lipped about it. “Yes I am working on something new and exciting but I really cannot talk about it. The production house has asked me to not even mention it,” said Shantanu.
Well looks like it is indeed great news for Shantanu’s fans, with Yeh Hai Aashiqui episode and his new show it’s double surprise for them, no?
