Popular comedian Kapil Sharma and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan have always been on good terms. We had witnessed SRK having a gala time with Kapil on his show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil. And this also reminds us how SRK generously offered financial help to rebuild CNWK set when fire engulfed the show’s interiors some time in 2013.
But cut to 2015, and all we could see now is relationships souring for weird reasons.
Well, what we are exactly hinting at is the recent incident involving Kapil and SRK that has left a question mark on their equation. A news daily reports that Kapil Sharma refused to participate in SRK upcoming show ‘India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun’ which is set to go on air in March on &TV. Yet, Kapil excused himself saying that he is bound by the terms of contract signed with Colors and is unable to participate in a show being telecast on any other channel.
Buzz also has it that Shah Rukh was upset with the diktat and he had a tiff with Colors for imposing such rules on Kapil. Interestingly, Colors's PR denied enforcing any such condition on Kapil.
A source told the daily that it is not SRK’s responsibility to choose guests for the show. It is solely the channel’s prerogative.
But going by Kapil’s decision, we wonder what made him take such a call.
