Bollywood actor Aarya Babbar has lots of exciting things to share with the world after his ‘Bigg Boss 8’ stint which happened in the last months of 2014. Well, the news is that Aarya is not JUST an actor anymore. The writer in him has penned down a fun novel for the young readers and the book was released recently by Penguin India. In a short talk the ‘Ab Ke Baras’ actor, apart from his debut work, he also shared a bit about his long due marriage. Here are the excerpts from the interview:
Are you in touch with the ‘Bigg Boss 8’ inmates?
Yup ... A few and they'd always be close to me for life.
How has life been after exiting BB house?
Fun! To sum it up ... New experiences gave me a new life ...
Karishma and Upen both have been your friends in the BB house. What do you have to say about their famous romance?
That usually love is blind in their case it is UPMA ...!
We hear that you are soon going to come up with your debut book. Please share some details of it.
The book is being published by Penguin and titled ‘My Fiancée, Me & #ifu**edup" Warning’. It's not a #luvstory it’s a #fu**upstory! As the title and tag line suggests it's the first of its kind to be in the fu**up genre. It’s quirky crazy humour written for the mobile generation with 60% of the book written in sms language and has two narratives simultaneously unraveling the story! To call it crazy is an understatement.
Who or what inspired you to author a book?
My mother! She has always been an inspiration for me. Her writings, her sensitivity to understand the human heart with a bubble of humour and pain have been inspirational.
What kind of literature do you like to read? Have you been always into books?
Yes, I have always been into books and enjoyed all kinds of reading ... Be it autobiographies, fiction, non-fiction or graphic novels, I love them all. I am not a very self-help book lover though.
Please share the names of your favourite authors.
    Neil Simon ... Hands down!
You have been enjoying bachelorhood for long time now. Is marriage on the cards?
    Yes it is! (smiles)
