While we all know that Rahul Mahajan is all set to enter Bigg Boss house for ‘Bigg Boss 8 Halla Bol’ edition as one of the challengers, many don’t know that Rahul is also going to make his debut in a film.
In an upcoming film ‘Lord of Shingnapur’, Rahul Mahajan will make a cameo. ‘Lord of Shingnapur’ is a modern day love story with a mythological touch to it. It shows the better side of Lord Shani , who we consider to be a bad omen.
Speaking about the role Rahul says, “I play the character Rahul who is Lord Shani’s messiah. I am a devotee of Lord Shani and this role was perfect. It is just a small cameo.
The producer of the film Raj Rathod is a good friend of Rahul Mahajan and when Rahul heard the script, he agreed. Producer Raj says, “People have seen Rahul in only reality shows. In this film people will get to see a different side of him. We have been family friends for long and this association has been great.”
We asked if Rahul would like do a fully fledged role in future, to which he said, “May be if a script is good. But I would definitely like to produce a film sometime.” The film, directed by Mahesh More and Farooq Barelvi will star Milind Gunaji as Lord Shani. ‘Lord of Shingnapur’ is going to be shot in Hindi and Marathi.
After the ‘Party Toh Banti Hai’ task in BB, Rahul Mahajan will once again come face-to-face with separated wife Dimpy. Rahul feels Dimpy has the chances of winning the show. He says, “Dimpy is doing great in the game. She has high chances of winning the show.”
