Producer-director Karan Johar was the first celeb to be picked by the makers of ‘Bigg Boss 8’ to replace Salman Khan as the show’s host. But KJo declined the offer and let it fall in Farah Khan’s kitty.
But his denial made us wonder what prompted him to say no to the lucrative deal. Well, here are a few reasons, as reported by a news site.
First things first, Karan believes that no one else can and should replace Salman on any platform. Second, he thought that a person who has been a BB fan would be a better choice. Since, he was not a keen BB follower, he let Farah lap up the offer. Third, KJo’s mother, who is a BB fan, made it clear that she would stop viewing the show if he hosts it. She loves the show and Salman, both.
