It was Star Plus's 'Maryaada... Lekin Kab Tak' that brought Raqesh Vashisth and Ridhi Dogra into the unbreakable bond of marriage. Three years later, the happily married TV star couple is ready to woo the audiences with their on-screen chemistry all over again via a Telefilm which will be telecast on the New Year's Eve.
About working with wife Ridhi, Raqesh says, "We play lovers and the story has thriller element as well." On being asked if anything changed between the duo since the last time they worked together, the 'Qubool Hai' actor said, "I had thought it will be strange to act in front of her because marriage is all so real. But I am glad, we haven't lost the on-screen comfort that we shared before. It's like old times and fortunately, everything is still the same. We share an uncanny vibe which helps us give our best when performing together. It’s a pleasure shooting with Ridhi," he replies.
The couple will also be seen dancing in the Telefilm, something that they did so well in the dance reality show 'Nach Baliye'. "The reality show gave me confidence. I used to think that I have two left feet, but now I'm excited to perform with her again," he says.
Often single actors are heard saying they would not want to marry another actor but Raqesh thinks differently and seems in a happy space despite having a spouse from the same field. He says, “There are more pros than cons of marrying an actor. When a couple is sharing the same roof and the same professional ground, life gets interesting and spicy. I and Ridhi complement each other. I recommend marriage strongly to everyone."
