If the grapevine we have heard about Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani being in talks for Saurabh Tewari’s next show turn out to be true, then the chances of seeing the real-life couple romance on-screen are very strong this time.
While there was buzz about Drashti Dhami being considered along with Sanaya for the female lead, it has been reported by a website that Drashti has backed out for some financial disagreements.
And now, the ball has moved into Sanaya’s court and the petite actress might just say “yes” to the show anytime in the coming days, of course if all goes well.
For the uninitiated, Sanaya has worked with Saurabh Tewari in Colors’s ‘Rangrasiya’ that ended in August this year. Her chemistry with co-actor Ashish and the presentation of the story was much appreciated by the viewers. The new show has been named 'Do Deewane Ek Shehar Mein' and will be aired on Sony TV. So, all now, we can do is hope to see similar magic recreated by Sanaya-Mohit (or Monaya, as their fans like calling them) once again!
