Every year many celebs try out their luck by send applications to get signed by TRP-raking reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ as for many it is a ticket to rev-up acting career and make some good moolah at the same time.
However, ‘Sanskaar – Dharohar Apno Ki’ fame actor Jay Soni is indeed very sanskaari in real life too if we go by his views on participating in the controversial reality show.
In an interview to a leading news site, Jay spoke how BB does not appeal him despite the show being offered to him every year! He confessed how he ended up doing ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ without much interest and the dancing part is something he did not like.
Instead, he would love doing the stunt show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ or something that would leave an impact on the audience.
When asked why BB is not his cup of tea, Jay reasoned in the interview: “For an actor, it's essential to have a personal life as well. Agar audience ne aapko poori tarah dekh liya, aapko ghar mein boxer pehne ghoomte huye dekh liya, they will not be convinced seeing you portraying different roles after that. For instance, if you are offered a role which requires you to be seedha-saadha, people won't accept you in that role since they have seen you yelling and fighting in the Bigg Boss house.”
All these reasons make BB a bad choice for an actor. Whoa! We appreciate your point of view Jay!
