The Indian Television Academy Awards is a night of glamour and glitz as actors from the television industry make their dazzling presence felt on the red carpet.
This year however, a few actors either couldn’t make it or took an early leave.
The popular team of Mahabharat and new-show Hatim went M.I.A. and so did funny man-anchor-actor Manish Paul. Manish Paul received the Best Anchor award. And as he was not there to receive, Rithvik took it on his behalf and said, “I will keep the award and not give it to Manish.”
Mouni Roy came in for a brief moment but left within 15 mins. Ashish Sharma walked in with his wife with a neck injury and left early.
Telly heartthrob, Siddharth Shukla too couldn't make it this year because of a recent injury.
