Happy news folks!!! How have we waited with baited breath to see Gauri Pradhan and Hiten Tejwani to make a comeback and here he is! In the latest episode of ‘Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi’, the ‘other man’ and Ishani’s biological father made an appearance and he was none other than Hiten Tejawani.
In one of our earlier posts we had given a hint that the secrecy maintained to keep Falguni’s (Gauri) past may have a connection with Hiten and Gauri pair-up.
The popular television jodi – Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan made a comeback after a five year hiatus. Popular since their ‘Kutumb’ days, we have always loved this pair and now we are just waiting to see the two get back together in reel life.
Hiten will be seen in an intriguing role as he plays Ishani’s biological father, Nitin, who will be seen in deep remorse for having left his wife Falguni (Gauri Pradhan) and daughter Ishani (Radhika Madan) in the lurch for another woman. After 22 years of being apart, Nitin returns to their lives only to find out that his now grown up daughter is getting married! During the period of Ishani’s wedding, Nitin does everything under his capacity to win their hearts back!
Talking about his role, Hiten Tejwani shares, “It feels great to be back with Balaji and I will be playing Ishani’s father who will be constantly trying different ways to please her and forgive him for his mistakes.”
On making a comeback with wife Hiten adds, “The advantage of working with Gauri is that being a real-life couple, we share a great comfort level and don't have to work towards an onscreen chemistry like other reel-life jodis. Both of us are excited about working together on the show."
Will Ishani and Falguni forgive Nitin’s mistakes? Will there be a reunion in the family? Only Time will tell.
