Singer Neha Kakkar, who has sung songs like “Blue Hai Pani Pani”, “London Thumakda”, is back with a fresh new song in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘The Shaukeens’. About her new project, Neha said, "It is very special for me because this is my third song with my favourite Honey Singh. Also, according to the listeners, the song's music and beats are something never heard before in India."
The song starts off with Neha singing “Badla mijaaz mera phookte hi grass...Grass lage hai mohe sabka ilaaj.” The song is called “Manali Trance” and its flavour is seductive with lots of oomph and attitude. The song has been picturised on model cum actress Lisa Hayden. Talking about the feedback on the song, Neha said, "The youth has loved it and by God's grace it’s picking up fast. The general feedback is song gives u a kick which takes you to some other zone."
So how Manali Trance happened, Neha was asked by the press. "I was in Delhi for a show when Honey Singh gave me a phone call and asked me to record a song for him. I don't ask him any details and straight away reached the studio and we recorded the song quite fast,” recalled Neha.
The pretty singer has done a few stage shows with Honey Singh. About her experience, shared, "Honey Singh has tremendous energy on stage. His connect with the audiences is excellent be it kids or the older generation. I must say his energy is very contagious."
