'Weekend Ka Vaar' starts with a twist as Salman picks up many issues and games that has been going on this week. Salman takes charge and plays a game against contestants to see how well they are playing.
He plays the phone booth task again. As the phone rings, Puneet picks it up. Salman asks him to maintain his composure so that housemates do not get to know that it is Salman calling and hence they will take the task seriously.
Salman then gives an opportunity to save a contestant if Puneet is able to perform the tasks well. While Puneet nominates his name and the tasks he get are:
# Arya - Needs to wear a sari and bindi and sit throughtout.
# Karishma - Needs to be without make-up
# Sushant - Needs to pack all his belongings and keep it in the store room.
While Arya somehow agrees to do the task, Karishma and Sushant doesn't budhe. And Salman gets to see their true colors. He calls of the task saying, "Mirchi lagake aate hai."
Yes, Salman does spice up the entire episode as he brings up each and every issue. The issues that were brought up:
# Not agreeing to the task : Salman is very clear that noone has the authority to save a contestant other than the audience. But, while he applauded Arya for agreeing to do the task, he admonished Karishma and Sushant for being such adamant and playing the game so 'well'. Karishma excuses to have pimples and hence she couldn't agree toremove her make-up even if that would have saved a contestant. Sushant just keeps mum.
# Not making Gautam captain and cornering him : In this context the P3 came under the scanner along with Karishma who played the mastermind. Salman unveiled which one of them by showing a video where Puneet saidthat they would be on Upen's side. Karishma too agreed in just installing the idea in everyone's mind.
#Upen is a 'panauti' (bad luck) : Well this was definitely the best part of the episode. Salman advises Sonali to stay away from Upen citing all the women who were close to him have been evicted - Sukirti, Soni being the examples.
#Upen's bad captaincy : Salman very correctly points how could Upen on judgement day declare Sushant and Gautam as the best and worst performer when Sushant didn't even complete the phone booth task and nominated directly. Upen tries to justify himself and also other contestants support him. Why not, as everybody is against Gautam. Salman very aptly questions contestants' intelligency as to how even after pointing out Sushant's arrogant atttitude, housemates keep side with Upen. Salman tells Sushant, "Being disrespectful is not at all funny. 'Whatever' attitude comes across a an image of a rich, spoilt brat kid." True that?
# Double meaning fight between Upen and Gautam: Salman asks Arya and Upen why did they react so much on a simple statement. Both try to give wayward answer while Salman keeps supporting Gautam saying his remark was not at all double meaning one. But he also mentions that Gautam is capable of making a positive thing in to negative as he is that talented.
# Ali nominating good friend Praneet : Well, you might remember that at the start of the week, Ali as captain had nominated Sonali and Praneet. A huge fight broke between the two friends - Praneet and Ali. Ali hesitates but gives the same boring reason of Praneet not working properly and hence nominated him.
Well in between all these issues that were brought up in the first leg of 'Weekend ka Vaar', Praneet was made to sit on the danger asaan.
Snapdeal customer gifts Preetam a helmet and complains that while he was playing very good in the beginning, why did he lose focus and be part of the plotting game? Preetam agrees to the point and apologises to the customer.
Salman also pointed out and asked housmates that why do they think that Gautam is saved every week though they portray him as a negative character? Karishma answers that maybe he is trying to be good infront of camera. The answer somehow doesn't impress Salman. Did he try show housemates the reality of Gautam...that he actually is not that negative? Viewers are also shown a footage of Gautam breaking down in front of camera while other housemates are just busy mocking and making fun of his situation?
