Producer Rajan Shahi, the man behind hit shows like ‘Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai’, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, ‘Chaand Chupa Badal Mein’, ‘Aur Pyar Ho Gaya’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahege’ (featuring Kritika Kamra and Sharad Kelkar) on Sony TV, the founder owner of production house Directors Kut has come up with new show titled ‘Itti Si Khushi’ for Sony.
‘Itti Si Khushi’ is an unusual story of a girl, Neha Saxena (Smriti Kalra) who meets with a near death accident at the age of 14 and slips into coma for 12 years. She wakes up as a beautiful 26 year old, only to find out she has missed out on several important years of her life. The story centers on how the innocent and fun-loving Neha decides to reclaim and relive the lost years of her life. The show’s story has been set in Agra and it also features Anuj Sachdeva as the lead actor. Another interesting element of the series if veteran actor Alok Nath’s voiceover to take the story forward.
Producer Rajan Shahi says, “Itti Si Khushi is a unique show with human values. It’s a simple story which will connect with audiences. It has relatable characters. I have casted all actors for their respective roles very carefully.”
