While the top 5 contestants in 'Jhalak...' will battle it out for the last time this week to secure their position in the Top 4 list, a tweet from the handle of Channel V serial ‘Dil Dosti Dance’ makes us wonder whether Akshat Singh will be voted out this week? The tweet reads, “@MohanShakti n @tusharkalia6386 are safe this week! They were in bottom 2 with akshat(sic)”.
If this turns out to be true, then 'Jhalak...' will not only lose one of the best contenders for the winner's title, but also one of the best dancers on the floor. Last week as Shakti couldn’t perform due to ill-health, she scored zero points. Still, Shakti got a chance to ask the audience to vote for her. Luckily, she was saved and is now ready to perform this week.
Does this mean that Shakti has got more votes than Akshat based on her earlier performances? If this turns out to be true, then Jhalak’s top 4 contenders would be Mouni Roy, Ashish Sharma, Karan Tacker and Shakti Mohan.
Also, this weekend you’ll get to see dance guru Ganesh Hegde and ‘Finding Fanny’ duo Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor burn the dance floor.
But only time will tell whether Akshat has been voted out or not. And if at all there will be a vote out as the judges Madhuri Dixit Nene, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza might decide all 5 to perform in the finale.
