It is a well-known fact that there has always been a love-hate between the press and celebrities. Last week, the sets of ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ witnessed a battle between the two entities like how. It so happened that the cast of ‘Finding Fanny’ Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone came on the sets of YHM to promote their film and did a few scenes with the cast of the show. The lead pair of ‘Yeh Hain Mohabbatein’, Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel, were not involved in the scenes. Karan came late for his part of the shoot and started shouting at the media present there to cover the special promotional shoot. He even banned the media and asked them not to come to the set moving on.
Divyanka, who is famous for her soft spoken and understanding nature, stood up for the press and conveyed that she will always cooperate with them.
On being asked Divyanka shares, "I am not aware about what exactly happened between Karan and media and I came to know about it much later. Looking at the facts I stood up for the media because they are always officially invited to cover the shoot. They are not fanatics; they are just doing their job and have never misbehaved so they deserve their bit of respect. They connect the bridge between celebrities and their fans so their importance cannot be denied."
Now that she will take sides with the press, we wondered whether it will affect her rapport with Karan. "I am with media but not against Karan. Karan and I are absolutely professional co-actors. So our equation will be the same. Our chemistry will still make people go weak on their knees, said the actress.
But will it hamper the success of the show since she and Karan are no more on the same page, she was asked.
Pat came her reply, "We were never on same page anyway as we are very different individuals but our love towards our work remains the same and that's the best connecting factor. Eventually we'll be on same grounds, I am highly optimistic.
