While Bollywood revels in the high-octane Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) every year, how can the TV industry remain far behind in having its own cricket league?
With this view, Box Cricket League (BCL) was kick started in the first quarter of 2014. While the game was not telecasted on television last time being a trial series, you can expect to watch TV celebs indulge in heavy duty cricket this time October onwards on Sony Pix.
Contrary to its last season, the upcoming season of BCL will have 8 teams instead of 6. Actor Mrunal Jain is the new entrant this time after purchasing Ahmedabad Express with his friends cum co-partners Nandhish Sandhu, Ajay Choudhary and Manik Soni.
The BCL starts from October 11. Meanwhile, the promo was shot for the series at Mumbai Filmcity on September 10.
Actors like Tina Dutta, Nandish Sandhu, Ssharad Malhotraa Ajay Chaudhary, Aadesh Chaudhary, Sara Khan, Manish Naggdev, Srishty Rode, Adhvik Mahajan, Aniruddh Dave, Mrunal Jain, Anuj Sachdev, J.D. Majethia, Gaurav Chopra, Mohammad Nazim, Sara Khan and Nivedita Basu were present at the shoot.
