Kajol is an actress who has always had the ‘I-give-damn-to-the-world’ kind attitude.
This supermom and a superstar wife is known for carrying her outspoken and on-your-face attitude on her sleeves.
She is famous for her loud, choosy and bratty nature in the entertainment industry. Yet, she is one actress who continues to lead a dignified and non-controversial existence. You may hate her but you can’t keep away from her. And that is why the magic is Kajol continues to thrive.
The actress was the new guest on Zee Café’s celebrity chat show ‘Look Who’s Talking’.
In a freewheeling chat with Niranjan Iyengar, Kajol revealed some very private details of her life.
The enigmatic Kajol said that she does not like too many people and she is very unapologetic about it. But she confessed that many times she has been proven wrong, like in the case of her friend, Niranjan Iyengar, who she had hated during their first meet.
However, she could not help upholding her belief that 90% of the times her judgment about people is right. However, we wonder how many people will like it when they will come to know that Kajol categorises most people as “horrible”!
And when it comes to being choosy about forging ties, Kajol reasoned that relationships are about spending time on them to nurture them and she does not make relationships so easily ‘coz she does not having that much time to spare.
She also revealed that she likes doing films with people who she liked (read: Karan Johar, SRK etc.) because in the past she has done films with people she has not liked and has “suffered immensely.”
Niranjan asked her how she deals with people who work with her when she lives by her habit of liking or disliking them. Kajol smartly answered that she is a good actress, so handling people comes naturally to her.
But having children has changed her outlook and has made her more tolerant, was her additional reply.
When the topic changed to her love life, Kajol was as vocal as ever. Did you know that both Kajol and hubby Ajay were dating someone else for two years ever since their first meeting until they decided to date each other? Moreover, Ajay used to handover his sage advise to her whenever she sought his help to solve the issues in her love life.
In Kajol’s own words, she disliked even Ajay as well initially. His habit of cigarette smoking and serious and eccentric nature kept her away from him. But when they did a certain scene together made her feel in her heart that Ajay is going to play an important part in her life. Sounds amazing, isn’t it?
For Kajol, Ajay won’t be the most romantic man on plant but she is happy for the fact that he is always with her and backing her which is the biggest assurance for her.
But the actress quipped that all the good things she has earned in life, be they love, children, successful career, she has worked hard to acquire and sustain them.
All in all, Kajol is someone who won’t be liked by many people in the beginning for her loud, brash nature. But once you start appreciating her honesty, which was apparent when she confessed that it was unreal to compare her with her graceful granny, you may come to like her a bit.
