Gutthi aka Sunil Grover is coming back in Comedy Nights with Kapil. Finally, the channel and Kapil Sharma have collectively decided to bring this ace comedian back on the show. He will be seen in his most popular avatar of Gutthi within a month's time on this show.
According to the sources, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover had a meeting where Sunil expressed his desire to come back on the show, Kapil forwarded his request to the channel. After mutual discussion, they decided to rope in Sunil because people still love him as Gutthi more than any other character.
Since Palak aka Kiku Sharda will be participating in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, he will have to juggle his time between both the shows, also other famous comedians like Raju Srivastava, Rajeev Nigam and Rajeev Thakur didn't click with the audiences hence it is important for the makers to keep up the TRP numbers. Thinking about all these aspects, the decision was made to call the most loved character of CNWK, Gutthi!
Sunil had left Kapil's show mid way for a chance to do his own solo comedy show Mad in India on Star Plus' which flopped terribly. He also wanted to get his foot back.
